I have a deep desire to instill my belief and commitment to life-long learning. I began my doctorate at age 50 and completed it at age 56. That commitment to learning drives my sincere belief that local empowerment for parents, teachers, and administrators is needed, if we are to encourage life-long learning in our K-12 and higher-level education system.
As your state senator, I will work to restore the basics of education by enabling local decision-makers with resources to find the best alternatives for achieving the best bang for the buck.
